Local MP Stewart Jackson has managed to secure an adjournment debate in the House of Commons in order to showcase Peterborough’s bid to become the UK Environment Capital and the location of the new Green Investment Bank. Stewart intends to use the debate to promote Peterborough as a prime location for the Green Investment Bank and green industries in the UK.
Stewart will lead the debate on Tuesday 13th September 2011 at 1.30pm. It can be viewed at www.parliamentlive.tv – Westminster Hall.

“I am looking forward to showcasing Peterborough and will be working with the City Council and Opportunity Peterborough to ensure we promote Peterborough to key Ministers and go for the double whammy of UK Environment Capital and home of the Green Investment Bank.”
