Mr Jackson will this Friday, 5th July 2013, be making clear his support for James Wharton MP’s Private Members Bill for an EU Referendum.
Stewart Jackson MP said:
I am delighted to confirm that I will be in Parliament on Friday and that I will be supporting Mr Wharton’s Private Members Bill, not least as I resigned as a Government aide in October 2011 specifically in order to support an EU referendum and am delighted that the Conservative part of the Government now supports this policy.
I believe that the people of this country should have a proper say on our future relations with the European Union. This is particularly poignant for Peterborough and a real concern for my constituents.
Why won’t Labour and the Liberal Democrats trust the voters too?
