On Tuesday 15th January 2013, Stewart Jackson, MP for Peterborough hosted East7′s Parliamentary Seminar ‘More than just homes: housing in the local economy’.
East7 is an informal alliance which includes eight of the largest developing housing associations in the East of England.
Mr Jackson takes a great interest in housing and regeneration issues. Up until the 2010 General Election Mr Jackson was Shadow Minister for Regeneration.
Mr Jackson spoke as part of a panel which included;
- John Cross, Chief Executive of BPHA and Chair of East7
- Gavin Smart, Director of Policy and Practice at the Chartered Institute of Housing
- Charles Smith, Chair of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Federation of Small Businesses
