Stewart Jackson MP said;
“I was delighted to welcome another Secretary of State to see what our city has to offer and it was great to welcome the Rt Hon Greg Clark MP back to Peterborough.
“By joining forces with experts from the private sector, Peterborough City Council is breaking new ground and helping to unleash the enormous economic potential that the city has to offer.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to open up the river front here in Peterborough to build high quality new homes and new leisure facilities. This not only provides more housing but will help attract visitors from the local area and further afield.
“I’ve been impressed by what I’ve seen today and would encourage the council continue its hard work and press ahead with their exciting regeneration plans for the future.”
