Stewart Jackson, MP for Peterborough, has welcomed the news announced in the Budget that the tax on bingo will be cut in half. This will benefit a number of Bingo clubs and the players to use them in Peterborough
Bingo duty was previously set at the high rate of 20 per cent, but this Budget announced that it would be halved to 10 per cent in order to protects jobs and protect communities.

‘The number of bingo halls has been falling for decades so it’s great news that the Chancellor is going to slash the tax on bingo by half. This will help protect jobs and help protect communities in Peterborough.
