Stewart Jackson MP welcomes good news with the decision of the Secretary of State to potentially Call In for his determination the controversial wind turbine application at French Farm, Thorney.

For constituents wishing to know the latest on the French Farm, Thorney application:

The up to date position on French Farm is that because a legal agreement was NOT signed following the “grant” of planning permission by the Planning Committee of Peterborough City Council on 4th February the permission is null and void and has been superseded by a Section 25 letter for the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government indicating that the City Council is not now legally permitted to grant panning permission as he may call in the plans under Section 77 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

We should know within 21 days if he will Call In and trigger a likely Public Inquiry.
